Got the letter from the ABR today. I passed the Clinical and General Physics exams. I felt pretty good about the tests right after taking them, but it is nice to have confirmation. Hooray!!
I've still got parts 2 and 3 to look forward to, but not for a while yet. Now if I just knew where they were gonna assign me at work... they still haven't announced anything.
Our machines are linear accelerators. They create very energetic electrons. We can treat with those electrons, or slam them into a target to create energetic photons (X-rays) via Bremsstrahlung ("braking radiation"). It is pretty cool! (Yes, I am a science geek, big time.)

Now you can study radios! Yay! That's what it means, right? Or you can run x-ray machines?
Excellent! Now I know who can take my tests for me.
Very well done there fermi on passing part one.
Soon you'll be able to tune into everyone!

Never doubted it for a minute!
