Always take time to sniff the flowers...

Or eat them, as the case may be.

Yum! A gourmet kitty if ever there was one.

It's gotta be an upscale restaurant though writegirl. Just look at the meager size of the portions.

Not sure what paperwhites taste like, but Sil sure seems to like 'em.

So how soon after this picture was taken did you step in the vomit? ;)

Awww, cute! I was just catching up on your posts. I really love Colbert. Is it bad for them to continue through the stike? Like does the WGA think so? I'm just not clear.

Also, the copy cat picture was wild. I thought you did a side by side. Amazing!

Perhaps the older cats should introduce Silvio to the pleasures of catnip.

You're right, ll. It must be nouvelle kitty cuisine.

Now that was funny! I sat here looking at that picture and giggling to myself - since Kurtis is now (finally) sound asleep and I think, so are the cats! Don't hear either of them nosing around, looking for a garbage can to dip into or anything else where they can work their mischief - for the moment, anyway!

magnetbabe - no vomiting, just nibbling. The flowers looked bedraggled afterward. Not so pretty anymore, but they still smelled good.

beth - Stewart and Colbert are members of the Writer's Guild. Thanks for the compliment on the twin cat photo.

dr s - Silvio doesn't get left out of the catnip fun. He gets the dried variety sprinkled on his toys and scratching thingies.

thewritegirl - it seemed like he enjoyed his nibblings.

jeni - sleeping time is about the only time you can be sure they aren't getting into trouble! Unless they are sleeping somewhere forbidden...

Did you have a broom in your other hand, ready to take a swat as soon as you clicked this picture? ;-)

Your kitty looks a lot like mine!

I was going to say that my cats don't smell flowers, they eat them, but you beat me to it.

I don't have fresh flowers in my house anymore. Got tired of the silly cats throwing up baby's breath.

MW - there might have been some discipline involved...

minnesotablue - grey cats rock!

kat - I bought a bunch of tulips last night and ended up storing them in the fridge while I was at work. He was way too interested in them, and I wanted to make them last. They still look pretty!
