And I thought my dreams were weird...

PDM doesn't usually remember his dreams, but he remembered enough of last night's dream to describe it over dinner tonight.

He dreamed that Gene Roddenberry's wife had his brain preserved after he died. She fled into outer space with it. Then she began to clone the brain and sell slices of it as cheese to aliens on the black market. Yes, cheese. Turns out it was all a grand plot to lure the Enterprise out to come and get her, because she wanted to implant the original brain into Captain Kirk's body. Young, hot Captain Kirk from the TV series, not old Kirk from the movies. It got weirder and more convoluted from there.

Like I said, I thought my dreams were warped and strange. I'm feeling downright normal now. Lately my subconscious is weaving in stuff from work and the material I am studying into the usual themes of dreams. Not nearly as exciting as black market cloned brain cheese.

Whoa Bessie! After hearing about that dream, I'm never gonna think mine are the least bit weird and strange -not ever again!

William Shatnetr always looked like "old" Kirk, if you ask me...

True story: Shatner wore a girdle when he played Kirk on the old TV series.

I rarely remember my dreams, unless they're work related and freaking me out...but that's a-whole-nother story. ;-)

OMG - what did the cheese taste like. OMG. OMG. I am dying here with laughter. So beyond, ROFLMFAO, laughter.

I like your husband. How orginal of a dream is that? Can I like write a book with that idea? Please ask him, I will get right on it, that is after I get my doctorate!

LL - did I mention OMG?

wa11z - fucked up, but yes - kind of cool at the same time.

jeni - you and me both!

minnesotablue - probably a lot of beer.

dr s - I did not know that, but am not surprised.

kat - I remember mine for a while at least. I have to write them down if I want long term storage.

ll - he didn't say. "Head cheese" would be my guess!

jenny - LOL! He has had some other weird sci-fi type dreams. But mostly he either doesn't remember or doesn't share them with me. Which is fine, since I have very vivid dreams that I do not share with him.

I have very odd dreams because they're usually nightmares -- bloody and twisted. I rather hate my dreams, but brain cheese reminds me of head cheese. Gross.

I had a dream someone was tearing my skull apart slowly and I was living through it, which really sucked. I would have preferred black market brain cheese.

Remind me not to eat what he eats before bed.

beth - I have a lot of dreams where people are chasing me and trying to kill me. Not terribly restful.

bc - beer.
