lolcats
It didn't occur to me that some people wouldn't recognize the "art form" I used in the last post until I found out that PDM had no clue what I was riffing on (or ripping off). I am usually the last to hear about stuff like that. But just in case you live under a rock or just don't run into these weird internet trends, it was a "lolcat". Maybe not the best example, but hey - it was my first. If you like this sort of thing "u can has mor funnyz kats" here. They are strangely addictive. You cannot resist lolcats.

I love that site. Don't know if anyone is on Serenitymovie.org but gossi- the guy who owns the board- has lolcat avatars all the time. Which probably means nothing to anyone. Not even sure why I mention it.

lolcats are ok, I guess. But they can't compete with wtfdogs, which I don't have any examples of because as far as I know I just now made them up.

magnetbabe - that made me think of the Jeff Foxworthy routine where he said his relatives were watching a movie with talking animal characters, and somebody whispered "you know that ain't them dogs real voice."
john - months from now when WTFdogs are a raging internet trend, I am going to link back to your comment where it all began. I think you should create a WTFdog for your next post.
