There are stars in the Southern sky

Starry Night

We'll be under those stars tonight for the Eagles in concert at Piedmont Park. Hope they play this song.

Enjoy, Enjoy! Whatever they play! I'm sure you'll do that though, won't you?

I hope they didn't gouge you too badly for tickets. Around here they started calling them The Egos because of the outrageous ticket prices...

But at least it's not a damn cat post. Enjoy!

Jeni - they opened with Seven Bridges Road and played a lot of good stuff. Great evening for it - starry sky, cool but not cold.

LL - the prices were about what I'd expect for general admission lawn seating and a Big Name act, but they didn't cost us a thing. A friend of ours gave them to us.

Hi BC! It was a lot of fun. We got a kick out of this group of 5-6 ladies in their 50s near us who were shakin' their booties all night long and having a great time.

I do wish people could leave their smart phones alone for an hour or two and just enjoy the music. No need to update your FB page every time they play another song.

One of my dear friends is a manager at a local radio station and Cami calls him up all the time to request songs. She loves Hotel California so he plays that for her on her birthday every year.

Its the older crowd that knows how to have a good time. The younger crew has no clue. One of my high school friends was at a concert in CA and someone caught her rocking it out and video taped it. It was hysterical.
