Silvio!

silvio in brown

It wasn't difficult to choose which cat to feature on this week's Friday CatBlogging post...

Silvio continues to improve. He's back to his usual mischievous self this morning.

Just keep the good news about Silvio coming!
In our house, we have decided that there is no way we could bear to part with little Chino -the last of the kittens. She, like her mother, has such a sweet, calm nature, is also excellent around both the kids and has, on several occasions now, also proved to be just the right amount of distraction to avert a major meltdown with Miss Maya!
Hooray for all the great things cats provide to us -right?

If Silvio's back to causing trouble, that's a good sign.

Congratulations on passing your exam!

Find any gas yet? We went through the same thing in Nashville last weekend; things more-or-less returned to normal over the course of the week. Like you suggested in your last post, a lot of stations were getting overnight deliveries, and if you went to fill up in the morning, you could get by alright.

Great picture of Mr Kitty cat and glad he is feeling better.

jeni - I am happy to report that Silvio is doing well so far.

dr s - Trouble means that he is feeling like himself again. Yes, I did finally find gas eventually. Had to wait in line for about 20 minutes and deal with stupid people, but now I have a full tank and it should last about three weeks for me.

jenny - thanks. I like this portrait of him very much. I worry about him and fuss over him, but so far everything seems to be OK.

Great that he is causing trouble again. Good sign. :D

That is such an awesome picture!

I hope you have a scrapbook of sorts for all these.

Yay! So glad to read he is back to normal. Beautiful picture, as always. And CONGRATULATIONS on passing your exam!

Look at that face! He is such a dude!!

Congrats on the exam.

and good luck with the gas! this country is going to hell in a hand basket - as my Mother used to say during the 70s shortages. I once slept in the car all night to be there before they ran out.

Oh and Mia says Silvio is very handsome and wonders if he has a girl. :)

bc - the closest thing to a scrapbook I have is the sets I keep on Flickr, one for each cat. I haven't been printing photos in a long time.

magnetbabe - thanks, and thanks. It is a relief to have that test behind me. There is still another one coming up, but I won't do any serious prep for it until January.

dianne - ha ha! Silvio will still be a dude even if we have to do that operation to turn him into a girl cat.

So glad he's back to his ol' self.

ll - blame ctheokas for this week's edition. He wanted to make sure it happened, just for you.

nypinta - he had 'em all charmed at the two vets.

twg - closer to his old self, but now he pees if you squeeze him too hard. That's different. And temporary, I hope.

Hurray, Silvio! Wow, this picture and the soft grayness of it, silver really, amazing!

Just read your post below also. No gas? Welcome to the new world. It sucks.

And a big congrats on passing the 1st part of your test. I had complete confidence.

beth - yeah, gas is still very difficult to get around here. You can find it, but it is hit or miss and there is usually a line. They say it will be back to normal in a couple of weeks.

That is one tough looking cat. He ever done time?

fermicat said...

trinamick - Really? He doesn't look so tough cowering under the bed when company comes. Moxy is the real deal - "junior miss tough cat of the universe", or something like that.

Maybe it's just transferrence. My cat gives me that look right before he takes my food/bed/spot on the couch. It's very intimidating. One day I just know he's going to grab my wallet and keys and head out the door.
