Hey, I just wanted to comment on 22nd's post first because I too am donating my long hair to Locks of Love. I have about 2" to go now after stupid beautician went too far on my trim. What made you decide.
Are you going to do before/after photos?
What I think is strange about veterans and soldiers now is the feeling everyone has (or most everyone) about wanting ours back home now.
dianne - it was a DOD photo, not one of mine. I haven't been to the Tomb of the Unknowns since I was a kid. I liked this photo for the same reason you state.
beth - what made me decide was seeing the example of others who donated, plus seeing bald cancer patients at work, many of whom are children.
