that's a beautiful scene and must have been hard to say goodbye to.

But I bet everyone is really glad to see you.

Yeesh... look at all those people. I'd have left too.

All those people? Egad, man, there's nary a soul out there! I'd have left for the comfort of a real city, as well!

Hope your time there was as nice and beautiful to enjoy as the photos you posted were for us to gaze upon. But glad you're home now, safe and sound.

I'm still fighting jet lag, and deprivation of scenery! But spring has seriously sprung here in Atlanta, so the view is almost as pretty. It seems like every tree has suddenly sprung into bloom or bud or leafing out. Soft, delicate colors. Very nice (except for all the pollen). Maybe it will rain and I can leave my car parked in the open, where it Mother Nature will rinse it off.

Sorry I missed you and wigged out on PDM (didn't want any confusion with that "Booze and Hookers" posting...really just ran out of time) Hope to see you both the next time I am down in your neck of the woods.

tiff - I agree, would be better with no houses or people. I got some of that when I hiked in the Torrey Pines State Reserve (although we did see a naked guy while we were there, and there were way too many people on some of the trails).

dr s - waaaayyyy bigger, and saltier!

kat - my sister lives near there. But I'm cool with my Atlanta digs.

shellig - sorry I missed you, but looking forward to next time. We'll plan ahead. PDM doesn't appreciate college football like I do, so I will be looking for some people to go to Tech games with me next year. We can be the "rowdy girls" again!
