Ahhh, cat naps. Some of what I hope to do this weekend. Zima has had nearly 14 years of practice and she is very good at it.
There is still a lot of real life stuff going down that is not the greatest. Some of it downright sucks. I will write about it later, but for now prefer to keep it private. We will be fine and it is not anything that was unexpected. Just sad. More to come...

I so wish I could do that! I have never had the nap talent. It is so rare that I can sleep during the day. Usually it only happens when I'm sick. On the rare occasions that I do take a nap, I wake up really groggy and then it doesn't feel very fun. Oh well.
Hope everything works out as well as is possible, fermi. Life does indeed suck sometimes.
Thursday cats again? *sigh*
Hmmmm... I'm thinkin' I know what your sad over. And if it's what I suspect it is, I'm going to give you a big hug right now darlin'. You know we care about you around these 'ere parts, so take heart in that.
You are so right about your beautiful cat knowing how to take those naps! Also right about how things do suck at times too. And, to answer your question on my blog the other day -about why anyone would bathe a cat -that's exactly what my son asked me about that episode too. And my answer to both of you -"Lord only knows!"
Take care now too.
twg - I don't have any trouble napping these days, just don't get much of a chance to do it.
ll - I did the Friday cat blogging the night before this time. Thanks for the hug. Your suspicions are probably correct.
jeni - I can't remember ever giving Zima a bath. She does a good enough job of that on her own. I have to brush her sometimes during the spring shedding season.
what a relaxing photo. and I love her sweet, pretty collar - very hippie-dippie :)
whatever is going on I wish you peace and strength.
All my best on the problems fronts.
I have never given KiKi a bath. She just wouldn't allow it!
dianne - Zima knows how to relax!
dave - thanks.
minnesotablue - I bathed Moxy the day after we brought her home to get rid of the shelter smell. Never again, and a good thing that is.
Yeah, I've been experiencing some unpleasant stuff too in one area of life, but I do my best to keep my distance and not let it bother me. With the exception of a rare email message now and then in which I reveal more than I intended, I never write about such stuff. I cannot get past my original philosophy that my blog is my escape from the unpleasant, sometimes ugly, and always mundane aspects of reality. On the other hand, I know it helps to write about it, and so I always encourage "others" to do it if it helps (hypocrite that I am).
As for the great cat picture, are you facing down into a basket? Or is the cat lying on its back, facing up? I vote for the former, of course. Ha.
My camera was pointed downward to take this sleeping cat photo. That basket was a Christmas gift with food items in it, and when we took the stuff out we left it on the counter. In no time, the cats took it over. All three have been in there, but Silvio and Zima like it more than Moxy.
