tiff - especially the ones that actually HAVE nuts!
LL - we'll be there for him when he wants to come back. I think he must have a new ladycat friend. Or some other crazy cat person is giving him better chow than we offer.
'sigh' is right bach when I did rescue work it was so hard to keep track of them and to not want to just take them all inside and keep them like a crazy hoarder
your photos are beautiful, I went back thru all I have missed
you capture such lovely spirit and emotion in your shots
I was going to post Leave him alone and he'll come home and I see now that's exactly what he's done. Very appropriate name -Romeo! We had an orange cat -George -for about 8-10 years a good while back and he would up and disappear sometimes for several months, then reappear, hanging on the screen of the kitchen door to let me know he was back. (Not my favorite cat since he kept demolishing my screen!)
we got catnip flavored cat treats. They do not go far if your in the living room. THey are stalking us just in case it is treat time. Try a bag on yours it is by goodlife recipe.

Thanks y'all. He seems to come and go now. Hangs around a few days, then splits for a few more. I guess he'll be back when he gets hungry.

Jenn - I planted some catnip for the kittehs this summer. They are all addicts. Gotta have the "feline opium den".
