Romeo went missing for four days. I didn't think I would ever see him again. Had already combed through the local animal rescue websites without finding him, but what I saw there made me even more sad and depressed. (Who gives up a 14 year old cat for adoption?!? Who?)
He came back this evening like nothing ever happened. Shrugged off the extra affection, but accepted the triple food ration.
Such is life when you love a tomcat.

Can you lose something that never was actually yours to begin with?
Sounds like our "Fluffer-Nuts" here -the Tom Kitten of the house. Well come September, when he's a year old, I guess he'll then be the resident Tom Cat, won't he? But boy, is he a piece of work! Meows in the whiniest of whiny voices to go out and two minutes later, he's back at the door, crying to be let in and so it goes, that vicious cycle where he doesn't know what the heck he wants. And they say females are fickle! Not near as much as a Tom Cat is -my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Glad Romeo found his way back home to you. Triple rations, huh?
LL - hold on loosely, but don't let go? I missed him. He has been MIA since his appearance last night. *sigh*
Jeni - there is probably a lady cat involved. We really need to get Romeo fixed.
Ah, Romeo has a Juliet. That's actually kind of sweet. Of course, now there are probably going to be a dozen kittens with his likeness running around, but what are you gonna do?
More kitties to love? :o)
