Costumed CritterBlogging

Do you dress up for Halloween? How about your pets? I loved this article - the pets just look so... earnest.

Mandy may have smuggled our beloved Gracie Cat (the one we had for 16 1/2 years) out to take her trick or treating with her -anything is possible there I guess. I should have dressed the mutt I had back in my trick or treating days because he made me a dead giveaway since he insisted on accompanying me wherever I went. But I never gave a thought to putting him in costume then. Besides, my ultra-practical mother would probably have never allowed any shenanigans like that then. (And yes, that is how she would have regarded anything away from what she construed as the "norm.")
Love that little boston terrie though -all decked out like a British Bobbie -so darned cute!

Dianne - my cats would shred me with their razor sharp talons of doom if I tried to put a costume on 'em!

Dr Jenn - and I call my animals my KIDS, ha ha.

Dr S - makes me think of Dragon Con.

BC - good word ver! I think dogs are more willing to humor their owners by wearing silly stuff than cats. Any attention is good if you're a dog.
