Dave - sunny window ledge, minimal photoshopping. And yes, my timing is excellent -- we finally get warm weather in Hotlanta and I leave for an area that is still experiencing some winter. Typical.
LL - I aims to please. Just not everybody. And who knows, maybe a vacation photo will pop up during the week...
Hey everyone. Got to Fermi's home yesterday afternoon. Got all my cat sitting orders and I'm good to go. I just love these cats LL, wish you were here. Fermi and PDM left early. It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Didn't have internet access first two nights in Torrey, but now I do (we're in Moab). Vacation is for avoiding reality, so I only checked (a) the weather forecast (you have to have *some* reality if you don't want to get stuck in the mud), (b) NCAA tourney results and my score in the office pool (currently I am in first place, but since Kansas lost and one of my other final four picks is out, my prospects are not good long term), and (c) your comments here.
We are having a great time so far. The scenery is amazing. And LL -- so far no trouble finding beer and wine. We have plans for tomorrow but may revise on the fly if the forecasted rain shows up.
Hi Dianne, Fermi and PDM are having a great time. They have only called me twice. She's had a hard time finding a signal. Oh, all the cats are well fed and happy, I am too.
Hello again Mom. LL, perhaps I'm preconditioned, that and I scan rather than read, I swore I was about to read in your comment that you were asking Mom if she'd "bumped off" a cat yet.
Fermi, it's going to be high 60's and low 70's all week.
We hiked in Canyonlands National Park "Island in the Sky" district today and the temps were high thirties and low forties. We were alternately cold and hot, depending on sun exposure and wind (this area is a high mesa above the Colorado and Green Rivers). I don't think I would have enjoyed the hikes if it were any hotter. But glad to hear that spring had sprung in Atlanta. It will be nice to come home to warmer temps.
Can you say "cabin fever" in the city? I'm longing for some adult conversation and a card game...oh well, guess I'll just go shopping. Hi everyone, I hope you've had a good week so far. LL, the cats send their love.;)

Yep! I'd say that cat definitely thinks it's vacation time all year round! Enjoy and hurry back all relaxed and rested.
Hi Mom. As to the pic, florescent light and Photoshop?
And have fun, knowing it will be in the seventies here tomorrow.
Never mind the light thing, I just realized it's wood or metal with a light source on the left.
That's a helluva dirty trick to pull... leaving us on a damn cat pic for a week...
Jeni - thanks!

Oops...Hey Dave and LL. Sorry to leave you out of my last post. Fermi's message didn't show up until I published mine .....strange.

I know better than to suggest that Dave. I only secretly wish it... ;)
30s and 40s? I'm surprised it's that chilly down there. Been a little cooler around here this week too.
