The "two weekend project" that's been going on for six months...

... still not finished.

But much, much closer after this weekend's labors.

Before, during (oh, the horror!) and after photos to follow. When the project is finished, of course. No cheating. The trim and cabinet need at least one more coat of paint, I need to find replacement cabinet hardware and bath hardware that I like, and then I need to get my stuff out of PDM's bathroom and back into mine. Then there is the need to completely empty the linen closet and wash all of the drywall dust off of everything in it, because all exposed items and surfaces are powdery white. On the plus side, that stuff's needed to be reorganized for a long time, and it will be nice to put everything back in such a way that it can all be easily retrieved.

We did a few other random things around the house and yard as well, but the big news is the almost-complete half bath. I hope you had a productive weekend, and if not - I hope the reason you didn't get anything done was because you were too busy having fun.

Sounds like you had a busy but productive weekend. Nothing better than the satisfaction of reorganizing closets and draweres. And I hate cleaning up that plaster dust. It tends to settle into ever nook and cranny!

Ran three errands on the way home, they it was more painting. I am really trying to get that bathroom in a condition where I can move my stuff back into it. I didn't get as far as I wanted, but made progress.

Unfortunately, I have to work late tomorrow to do my monthly calibration and testing of the accelerator, because I am running out of month. I want that bathroom finished. Sigh.

..THEN it was more painting.

I should proofread these things.

What would be the fun in that?

You'll get it done... eventually.

Painting! Yay!

Next up - a primer on how to calibrate an accelerator.

Please?

Today I worked late and came home starving, and couldn't paint. Hooray!

tiff - no primer, but the reason I worked late today was to calibrate the linear accelerator at work. Fortunately, it is really stable and didn't need much adjusting. Just a tweak here and there.

I'll bet it's fun taking a bath in a "half bath." Ha.
