No no no no no. There is a prophecy. It says 'when the cat that is cosmical fails to post her solstice greetings the world will cease to exsist'!! Or maybe not.
Do what we do and send Happy New Years cards instead. Or don't worry about it. Honestly, the only cards I truly enjoy are the ones with a photo or a newsletter or a handwritten catch-up note. The ones with just a signature just aren't as significant.
I'm with ll. I never started that tradition and I'm glad I didn't. So much work! I always feel a little bad because I get many in the mail from other people. But at the same time, why should you feel obligated just because other people do it?
I finally have all but 4 of my cards ready to drop in the mailbox. Well almost ready, that is. Thing is, I just realized I can't find my little Christmassy return address labels and if I don't find them, I'm gonna have to sit down, take up MORE DARNED TIME to write the return addy on the damned cards. Sheesh! Does it ever end? But the cards better hit the mailbox today or else -that's my bottom line. Well, it is right now but who knows what I'll be saying come midnight Friday night when the day becomes history. Merry Christmas! P.S. I loved the pic of Silvio with his paw so nicely wrapped around his "package." That cat's eyes are so cool -love his look there.
ROFLOL! I always plan to send them but never get around to it... I think I give up. If the world comes to an end, however, I will blame you. Merry Christmas!

If the world ends, I'm blaming the Large Hadron (or Hardon) Supercollider. I don't buy that "it's broken" story...
What are these... cards of which you speak?

I say good for you! You can always say you're doing it to save trees. That's my stock answer why I don't do cards ever.
I'm feeling really bad now having started your angst.
I'll send you one, by electrons...soon.
LL - you don't have them in the Yukon Territories, so don't worry about it.
Keli - I remember those NY cards. I wanted to do a photo card this year. I was going to photoshop a cat picture, but didn't get around to it in time.
magnetbabe - not sure why I feel obligated, but I do.
Kat - I will probably send some e-cards to the people I have email addresses for.
Dave - I was angsty before your post, so don't feel bad.

Jeni - did you find those labels? Silvio doesn't have a "package" anymore... oh wait - you meant the cow. :-)
Jenny - sorry!
Shelli - I usually mail them in a mad scramble right before Christmas anyway. Oh well, maybe next year.
