A fun feline pastime. Here, Zima will demonstrate.

That's impressive. Have any of your cats ever gotten stuck in a tree? I don't let mine out of the apt.

Moxy's gone pretty high up, but she always finds her way down unassisted. Zima only goes 4-5 feet before she hops down and races over to another tree to do it again. Like I said, it is a fun feline game for her.

Awesome. I so wish my kitties could wear themselves out scaling some trees. They have to settle for scaling the furniture.

Zima was out playing Pick A Tree tonight. I wish all kitties could get the chance to play.

Winners get a big bowl of milk, and all the kitty treats and catnip they want. The losers' owners get to call the fire department.

No, no, no. Pick A Tree, when played properly, only involves a short climb. It's all about the crazy fun of ripping up a tree. And then another. And another. Not about going crazy high and getting stuck. My old cat Fermi was a master at this game.

Gray cat, Chino and little orange kitten here both love to climb but mainly they like to climb screens -as in the screens in the front door and the back door and kitten especially loves to climb the screens of the living room windows too. She's really fascinated with the sheer curtains Mandy has there and which she now looped up over the curtain rod in a meager attempt to put them up and away, otu of the potential reach of one very naughty little kitten climber!

Our cats tried to climb the screens on the porch, but we were ready for that tactic. Not allowed! We don't have many curtains, but climbing them is not allowed either. We discipline with a squirt gun. Works pretty good.
