Happy Thanksgiving! I had to turn off the football, though - I thought the Packers and Lions were going to be the good game. I'm not holding out much hope for the other two.

Hope Big Daddy's doing OK.

Big Daddy has had another setback, but that is a post for another day. I am in north Georgia with PDM and his four brothers and their wives and children. Good food and good fun. We haven't watched much football today, but there are a lot of good games on tomorrow and Saturday (and PDM and I will be at the Tech v. UGA game in Atlanta, for better or for worse).

Nap time to come later... right now, I am enjoying the big family gathering and we just opened a bottle of 18 year old single malt scotch.......

PS - Detroit would do better if they played Calvin Johnson more often.

Also turkey stew, which is soething I just "invented" last night.

Everything that was served in individual bowls on the big day goes into a pot, and a little while later (with the addition of some water and then corn meal to thicken) it comes out delicious.

Sorry to hear about BD. Best wishes to him and al y'all.

Loved the picture there! And I think I may have missed a nap somewhere along the way cause I'm feeling the need for one soon now! Or maybe that is just my normal afternoon nap calling to me too - who knows! LOL Hope you have a good day with the football today!

Fermi,

As I watch, Tech is leading Georgia by four with half time imminent. Apparently the drinking thing you mentioned worked better than you thought.

I guess I didn't drink enough...
