Take Your Cat To Work Day?

Zima's ready to go, as long as the dreaded 'cat carrier' is not involved.

Did you really get to take Zima to work? If so, how did that go? I've thought about bringing the kids to work (not that it's allowed or anything) and just can't imagine that it would go well. And with the size of this building I'd be afraid I'd never find them again.

No, I didn't really take her to work. She just looked cute camped out on my work stuff -- as if she was ready to go with me. SHe would have freaked out if I had tried to put her in the car. Cars are bad because they lead to vet visits.

A long time ago, my sister lived in NYC and would visit the family on Long Island with her cat.

He loved suburbia so much he'd get in the cat carrier during the week and "ask" to come visit.

I can relate to cats & cars. Zapata used to cry the entire time starting from trying to catch the little darling to put her in the carrier. My black cats have been super smart. If I don't catch them first, it takes an additional 15 minutes to get them in the carrier. My white/black/grey cats are gullible enough to stick around to see what's going on.
