Great shot, Fermie! The "babies" here (as Maya prefers to call the kittens) are starting to move around in their big box and one of 'em -the heaviest of the lot -likes to try to dig her claws into the cardboard and climb. So far, she's been unsuccessful in her attempts, but it's just gonna be a matter of time before she scales the box and is out and about in the house. Wonderful. Well, not always but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
jeni - those little guys are gonna get into everything!
ll - drought is a good word. Yes, lacking any recent cat photos for the Friday post, I borrowed one from February. It seemed appropriate, given the last two weeks I've had...
dianne - she was trying very hard to get that squirrel, but of course the nimble squirrel had her beat once he made it to the tree.
Ever watch "Worlds most amazing video's"? They had one on there a few weeks ago of a cat falling out of a 90' tree. They explained the complexities of how and why cat's land on their feet. The one that fell out of the tree did not! Cute shot though!

Boy... you are experiencing a drought there aren't you. I mean that poor tree doesn't even have any leaves! ;)
I LOVE how determined and focused he is!

Next, a call to the fire department...
Oh my heavens, if I ever found one of my babies in a tree I would freak out...of course, being sans front claws, it would be bloody difficult.
Great picture!
