We still enjoy hearing the night noises. Last night was a treat - soft steady rain pattering on our roof all night.fermicathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06912496005011895707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-58066764640899464542008-04-04T10:40:00.000-04:002008-04-04T10:40:00.000-04:00That's so cool. I'd love to know where their nest is, but after a lot of looking (with and without binoculars), I still haven't located it. But hey - they come around a lot and are fairly conspicuous sitting on branches and calling, so I will take what I can get!fermicathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06912496005011895707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-74509466354705700552008-04-03T22:34:00.000-04:002008-04-03T22:34:00.000-04:00Yup. I've never seen a barn owl actually in a barn, but I have seen several horned owls in barns.LLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01614843246640462976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-12447016950598562232008-04-03T21:13:00.000-04:002008-04-03T21:13:00.000-04:00ll - Did it sound like this? We hear the trains going through nearby Tucker, Georgia at night. Those juvenile owls sounded freaky weird, rather than mysterious. But they'll get the hang of it soon.fermicathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06912496005011895707noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-40043578174573092752008-04-03T20:34:00.000-04:002008-04-03T20:34:00.000-04:00Oooooh - a sound I love, and along with a train go...Oooooh - a sound I love, and along with a train going by is evocative of mystery and adventure.tiffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01351692108818152561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-41739730285046682542008-04-03T19:48:00.000-04:002008-04-03T19:48:00.000-04:00So did you tell them that PDM does most of the coo...So did you tell them that PDM does most of the cooking?wa11zhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01260555015522465509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30764196.post-72581285791432870972008-04-03T19:35:00.000-04:002008-04-03T19:35:00.000-04:00Hmmm...
